SMS Terms

These terms cover the text messages that CICO Technologies LLC(“CICO”) sends for the hotels, inns, campgrounds and other properties that take bookings through CICO (each a “Property”). When you book on a Property’s booking page and tick the box to receive text messages, you agree to these terms.

1. What you will receive

Messages about your stay at the Property you booked with, for example:

  • booking confirmations, changes and cancellations
  • reminders before arrival, check-in details and payment reminders
  • replies from the Property’s staff to messages you send
  • offers and news from the Property, only if you agreed to them

Each message names the Property it comes from. Message frequency varies with your booking.

2. How you opt in

You opt in by ticking the text-message box under the phone field on the Property’s booking page. The box is not ticked for you. Agreeing to text messages is not a condition of booking or of any purchase.

3. How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop all text messages from that number. You will get one message that confirms the opt-out, and no more messages after it. To start again, reply START.

4. Help

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact the Property you booked with. You can also email us at info@mycico.com.

5. Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s plan decides these charges. CICO does not charge you for text messages.

6. Carriers and delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages are sent to mobile numbers in the United States and Canada. Delivery depends on your carrier and your phone’s coverage.

7. Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Read our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the last change.
